Good Day Everybody!
I've never been very motivated by working out on treadmills, other machines or by doing the same old same old mundane aerobics class five times a week. Since the age of 10 or 11 I've been a fan of exploring different dance styles and taking intriguing fitness classes that challenge my body and mind as well as provide a creative outlet for me to express my own style, personality and flavor.
Actually, since moving to L.A. I think I've come across more of these fun unique fitness activities than I've ever encountered before! Usually after coming across one new activity after the other, I'd enthusiastically tell a good friend what I had just discovered only to have her smile while shaking her head saying, "Girl what else will you get yourself into?"
So this gave me an idea....why not chronicle my journeys via video? I like public speaking in person and on camera and I also like to dance and explore the fun unique fitness landscape. So why not combine these two interests?
Many of the videos below are the manifestation of the above idea. Passion in action. I like to get involved in a lot. I love to move move move my body a lot and I hope you like these videos..a lot :)
Take care.

I found out about this rare workout in October of this year (2009). Watch the video and find out exactly how this works and why you only need to workout for 20 minutes once a week. Sounds too good to be true? Well, it isn't.

Impromptu reporting on the 2009 ArtCycle event in the Hel-Mel area of Los Angeles. These capoeiristas were not officially part of the festival, but were close enough to it and added amazing energy.
