As you know by now, I'm not terribly shy in front of an audience :) Below are two other activities which I enjoy.

This performance was from the 2009 Palm Springs Salsa Congress.
I joined this amazing Los Angeles-based dance group in April 2009. Afri-K-Sineras is an innovative all female dance ensemble known for its unique fusion of African and Latin dance. Although the ensemble's feature dance style is rueda de casino, the traditional dance of Cuba, the company performs an array of styles including traditional West African dance, Cumbia and Tambor, to name a few.
The group's name is derived from the words Africa and Casinera: A casinera is a female who dances Cuban style salsa called casino. Our dances are also heavily influenced by movements and dances from throughout the African Diaspora.
For more background on Cuban salsa, particularly in "rueda" form click here to see my video about this style of dance.

The improv game in this video is called 4 Corners. Four actors rotate to the 4 corners of the stage when the emcee cues it. With each rotation is the playing out of a completely different scene.
In one corner of this game I play a medieval mother trying to kill her son with a dagger. In another I play a sister trying to destroy her brother's pride and joy - his Star Wars cup collection.
